Supplier Quality Engineer - Casting

Responsibilities

• Support and guide projects with a focus on China production plants and new export projects for global plants.
• Manage suppliers to achieve ZF-specified deliverables related to product quality in both preventive and reactive phases.
• Ensure conformance to ZF specifications and standards by applying APQP and PPAP methodologies.
• Conduct and lead supplier development workshops and audits.
• Coordinate communication and clarification between suppliers and internal teams.
• Take quality-related responsibility for supplier selection, including technical feasibility studies and process approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in mechanical design, Materials, Automation, Casting, or an equivalent field.
• Proven expertise in casting or machined casting processes.
• Strong command of quality tools including SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Experience in management or supporting cross-region and cross-country projects.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
• Established network in related markets for effective supplier management.
