Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality supply through effective problem-solving, continuous improvement, and supplier development
• Act as a key liaison between purchasing, engineering, production, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
• Follow PR/R procedures and guidelines for reporting and closing problem notifications using structured tools
• Support seamless production launches and the transition of component responsibility from SDE to SQE
• Conduct supplier production capability assessments and develop corrective action plans
• Perform annual audits at designated supplier sites
• Support the change management process at supplier locations

Requirements

• Higher technical education
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive production or supplier quality
• Fluent English communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Facilitation, training, and coaching skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics basics
• Understanding of electrical measurement methods
• Ability to read electronic schematics and interpret component application diagrams
