Supplier Quality & Development Engineer (NPI) - Machining Processes

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier qualification of machining processes for gas turbine components to ensure quality, deadlines, and cost parameters are met
• Oversee the development and industrialization of new production processes, acting as the primary technical contact for suppliers and internal partners
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by tracking milestones, managing budgets, and mitigating risks to ensure timely completion
• Manage product and process qualifications (PPQ) and provide manufacturability feedback to design teams
• Utilize statistical data to improve supplier processes, reduce non-conformance costs, and enhance overall efficiency
• Conduct feasibility studies for new designs and machining technologies to support the technology roadmap

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, manufacturing, or a comparable field
• Technical experience in machining processes, including grinding, milling, EDM (sinking and FHEDM), and STEM drilling
• Proven experience in project management and leading complex projects
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly regarding turbine hot gas parts
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25%)
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
