Supplier Quality & Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier factory safety, quality review, and control assessments
• Conduct on-site supplier factory evaluations focusing on QC and QA processes
• Ensure suppliers meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Validate that supplier outputs meet technical specifications and industry standards
• Execute QA and QC activities including inspection of materials and finished goods
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to ethical sourcing and labor practices
• Work with suppliers to improve quality systems and reduce defects
• Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and compliance checks
• Partner with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to integrate quality requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Engineering
• Proven track record of extensive practical experience in a relevant field
• Technical knowledge across the Supply Chain value chain
• Knowledge of safety and sustainability in Supply Chain and Inclusive Procurement
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and business case development skills
• Advanced knowledge of Chinese and other Low-Cost country sourcing markets
• Knowledge of Category Management, sourcing, and contracting with TCO approach
• Skills in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supplier Performance Management (SPM)
