Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support supplier readiness, including technological feasibility studies and supplier evaluations.
• Support supplier audits and lead problem-solving or escalation processes.
• Develop and maintain quality standard documentation, including risk analysis, lessons learned, and product audits.
• Interpret technical prints and measurement tools using GD&T.
• Guide suppliers in the proper application of manufacturing methods and quality systems.
• Utilize lean manufacturing and problem-solving techniques to support continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
• Ensure proper conformity of engineering changes to established quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5-6 years of professional experience in Quality, Production, Logistics, or Cost/Process Planning.
• Extensive expert knowledge of production methods for one or more commodities.
• Strong proficiency in problem-solving methodologies and techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive quality core tools (SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, GR&R, and MSA).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English language competency, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to use analytical methods such as Six Sigma.
