Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier claims for nonconforming parts found during incoming inspection or returned from customers
• Monitor defined KPIs for the supplier claim management process
• Handle non-conforming parts including blocking and unblocking procedures
• Coordinate in-house or external sorting activities for parts and finished goods
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to decide on the disposition of blocked parts (return or scrap)
• Manage supplier deviations in coordination with other SQE colleagues
• Perform manufacturing area audits according to the annual master plan
• Prepare the incoming area for customer and internal audits
• Report on the quality status of supplier claims according to defined reporting standards

Requirements

• Technical degree
• 1-2 years of experience in quality, preferably in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, and 8D
• Advanced knowledge of English and/or German
• Proficiency in PC skills
• Knowledge of quality and environmental management
