Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Ensure components meet established quality standards for reliability, usability, and performance
• Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis on incoming materials and non-conforming products
• Monitor supplier process capability and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Perform supplier audits, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and 4M design changes
• Work with cross-functional teams (Production, Purchasing, and Suppliers) to resolve complex quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Interface with customers to provide high-quality product service and support new model development
• Maintain 5S standards and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Fire regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-related role or equivalent relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab
• Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and/or international)
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including hands-on equipment support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality or Manufacturing Engineering role within an automotive manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of battery production, IATF16949 standards, Six Sigma, or 8D problem-solving methodology
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (or Korean/English/Japanese)
