About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier quality activities for designated commodities across various projects
  • Define and deploy the Part Approval Process and SPQD cycle
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and ensure compliance before "Go Order"
  • Make Go/No-Go decisions for production and First Article Inspection (FAI) milestones
  • Track supplier deliverables via the Supplier Quality Portal (SQP)
  • Evaluate supplier maturity, including FMEA, control plans, and work instructions
  • Prepare incoming inspection requirements for first deliveries
  • Report regularly on project quality status and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or an equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or project management roles
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Familiarity with supplier qualification standards such as ISO, ASME, or IRIS
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and supplier contracts
  • Knowledge of quality tools including PFMEA, control plans, QRQC, and 8D
  • Experience with FRP materials, surface finish, bonding techniques, and tooling/mold validation
