About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier quality activities for designated product categories within projects
- Define and deploy the part approval process and the SPQD cycle
- Perform supplier risk assessments to ensure compliance before "Go Order"
- Make "Go/No-Go" decisions for production stages and First Article Inspection (FAI) milestones
- Monitor supplier deliverables via the Supplier Quality Portal (SQP)
- Evaluate supplier maturity, including AMDEC (FMEA), control plans, and work instructions
- Prepare inspection requirements for initial deliveries
- Report regularly on project quality status and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (REX, APSYS)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or project management
- Knowledge of supplier qualification standards such as ISO, ASME, and IRIS
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Fluency in both French and English
- Expertise in supplier quality development and execution processes
- Knowledge of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) materials, processes, and mechanical properties
- Familiarity with surface finishing, adhesive bonding, and FRP mold validation
- Proficiency with quality tools including AMDEC (FMEA), 8D, QRQC, and control plans
