About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of OEMs and MRO providers, holding accountability for quality, delivery, and cost performance
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Lead periodic performance review meetings and implement supplier improvement initiatives
- Manage repair processing, material routing, and Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure supply chain reliability
- Coordinate corrective action plans and supplier recovery plans for underperforming vendors
- Oversee warranty and claim processes for parts experiencing quality escapes
- Build and monitor delivery schedules and external repair forecasts in alignment with customer priorities
- Maintain status dashboards and provide regular performance reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, or vendor management environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace or aviation industry
- 3+ years of experience with MRO processes
- Experience using SAP (specifically SD, MM, or WM modules)
- APICS Certification (CSCP, CTSC, or CPIM)
