About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update supplier dashboards in alignment with domain panel strategies
- Coordinate supplier performance reviews in partnership with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality departments
- Conduct industrial and capacity assessments to ensure business continuity and sustainability
- Perform on-site performance reviews to identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities
- Lead improvement actions to increase procurement process maturity according to APSYS standards
- Participate in procurement quality clinics to capitalize on lessons learned
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding supplier performance and action plans
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business or Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Technical understanding of rolling stock products and supplier manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of the DFQ cycle and ability to identify supplier improvement areas
- Solid experience in Lean, Quality, Methods, or Supply Chain activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel within North America
- Ability to work effectively in demanding, high-pressure environments
