Supplier Performance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier performance during the development phase for global commodities to support project teams.
• Evaluate supplier performance and coordinate with Commodity SDL for NCN (Non-Conformance Notice) opening and management, including 8D management and cost recovery.
• Support plant SQE in managing supplier non-quality during the serial phase for assigned commodities.
• Ensure BG Exterior supplier quality processes and standards are followed across plants.
• Monitor and ensure closing time KPIs are met for all OP Exterior plants.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of NCN management processes, standards, and training programs.
• Provide technical recommendations and collaborate with IT teams to improve management processes.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in supplier quality or performance engineering.
• Strong understanding of automotive global requirements.
• Proficiency with PPAP/APQP deliverables and IATF standards.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Technical knowledge of assigned commodities, including tooling, process means, chemicals, or BOM components.
