Supplier Performance & Capacity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the immediate recovery of supplier deliveries through regular on-site production presence.
• Define, drive, and monitor supplier recovery plans in collaboration with supplier management.
• Coordinate actions between internal plants, support functions, suppliers, and customers.
• Identify bottlenecks, shortage risks, and levers to improve supplier performance through capacity analysis.
• Conduct industrial supplier audits (global, load/capacity) and follow up on associated action plans.
• Escalate critical situations and report progress to relevant functions and management.
• Drive continuous improvement across contractual, industrial, planning, and technical performance levers.

Requirements

• Engineering or Supply Chain degree (Bac+5).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (SPE, SPM, or Supplier Development) within the aeronautics sector.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, specifically metals such as aluminum and titanium.
• Proficiency in SAP, specifically the MM and PP modules.
• Professional fluency in English (B2/C1 level) both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in supplier management and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to remain diplomatic yet firm and resilient under the pressure of "missing parts" scenarios.
