Supplier Industrialization Engineer Intern

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in discussions on DfX (Design for X) with internal and external stakeholders
• Facilitate communication of product specification packages between suppliers and internal teams
• Manage development and implementation of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Peak Part Approval Process (PAP)
• Assist suppliers with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation
• Identify and drive process improvement projects to improve quality, cost, and delivery metrics
• Help identify and assess potential suppliers through qualification assessments and performance reviews

Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (CATIA preferred)
• Ability to read Engineering Drawings and understanding of GD&T
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as Machining, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal Stamping, or PCBA
• Understanding of APQP and PPAP
• Understanding of problem-solving frameworks like 8D, A3, or Pareto Analysis
• Currently pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Previous internship or work experience in NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, or Sourcing
