Supplier Excellence Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise-wide procurement risk, supplier assurance, and governance framework across the Pacific region.
• Oversee end-to-end supplier onboarding, including registration, risk assessment, due diligence, and compliance verification.
• Lead and develop the Supplier Vetting Analyst to set governance standards and monitor control effectiveness.
• Manage procurement-related audits (ISS group, client, and ISO) from evidence collation through to remediation.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement systems, processes, and policies.
• Strengthen preferred supplier governance and reduce non-compliant spend.
• Own and enhance the Supplier Performance Review Program, including metrics and reporting.
• Champion ESG governance, specifically Modern Slavery risk mitigation and ethical sourcing controls.
• Administer key procurement systems including Coupa, Scanmarket, and SharePoint.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Procurement Excellence, Supplier Assurance, Quality Management, or Risk Management.
• Proven experience with Coupa Risk Assess or a similar supplier risk management platform.
• Experience with Scanmarket or similar e-sourcing and tender platforms.
• Experience administering SharePoint sites, including content, permissions, and document governance.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines with strong planning and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Risk Management.
• CIPS / MCIPS or equivalent procurement qualification.
• Certification in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, or Quality Management.
