About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and expand the supplier base and relationships in China
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, quality, authenticity, and responsiveness
- Support Purchasing by optimizing sourcing opportunities within the independent electronic components’ distribution ecosystem
- Manage supplier qualification, performance management, and ongoing capability evaluation
- Build trusted partnerships with strategic suppliers to drive mutual growth and sourcing reliability
- Partner with Quality and Operations to ensure supplier readiness and authenticity verification
- Maintain supplier data, reports, and performance metrics within the Velocity Information System (VIS)
Requirements
- 5+ years of supplier development experience in the electronic components or independent distribution industry
- Knowledge of electronic component authenticity, testing, and traceability
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- 4-year college degree preferred
