Supplier Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier audits and drive targeted improvement actions to meet quality and project expectations
• Own supplier development and validation plans, ensuring measurable performance progress
• Track and challenge supplier performance using data, audits, and stakeholder inputs
• Resolve systemic supplier issues at the root cause level to secure robust and lasting solutions
• Deliver impactful technical training to both internal teams and suppliers
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Project teams to ensure adherence to contracts and product specifications
• Strengthen the capability and performance of Machinery and Capital Equipment suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in supplier development, auditing, and technical training
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
• Strong problem-solving mindset with expertise in root cause analysis
• Fluency in both English and Chinese
• Clear and confident communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding processes and applications
