Supplier Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work directly with suppliers producing castings, forgings, machined parts, and assemblies to ensure technical and delivery requirements are met
• Travel to supplier facilities to diagnose manufacturing problems and drive root cause analysis
• Lead technical problem solving between suppliers and Boom engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
• Improve supplier production processes including tooling, manufacturing flow, inspection, and process control
• Strengthen manufacturing capability and problem-solving practices alongside supplier engineers and operators

Requirements

• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
• Strong technical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to lead through influence
• Must meet ITAR/EAR requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)
