Supplier Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ramp supplier lines from early prototyping through full-scale production
• Assess, design, and optimize manufacturing processes with suppliers to meet quality standards
• Lead supplier qualification processes and execute all aspects of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Manage supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Manage engineering changes related to materials, components, and manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in supplier industrialization, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including PCB/PCBA, injection molding, CNC machining, and stamping
• Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Willingness to travel frequently to supplier sites
