Supplier Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Facilitate supplier selection, contribute to audits, and manage risks during the onboarding process
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality, delivery, and overall performance for assigned commodity areas
• Oversee the quality of supplied products and services to ensure they meet company standards
• Collect and analyze supplier quality data to identify risks and coordinate mitigation actions
• Support new product introduction (NPI/NPD) and manage change control activities, including PPAP
• Proactively work with suppliers to correct, contain, and improve instances of product non-conformance

Requirements

• Higher education in Engineering or Quality Management
• ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification (Lead Auditor preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supplier quality assurance
• Experience working within a high-value capital equipment manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and lean systems management techniques
• Proven ability to analyze quality-related data and coordinate process improvements
