About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (1.8 Tonne and 2.5 tonne Counter Balance) in R&D and during vessel operations on the wharf
- Operate plant and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Follow all company policies, with a strict focus on Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
- Support the safe and efficient operation of passenger vessels at White Bay Terminal during seasonal demand
Requirements
- Current high-risk forklift licence
- Minimum of 12 months of forklift operating experience
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques
- Ability to drive in confined spaces and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven reliability and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
