About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and leadership to KBR-assigned Incident Response Coordinators across multiple geographic regions.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of cybersecurity incident response activities at the DoD Component level.
- Serve as the primary interface with government leads to ensure mission alignment and effective communication.
- Monitor, track, and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents and electronic data spillage events.
- Provide executive-level reporting and status updates to leadership throughout the full incident lifecycle.
- Track incident metrics and historical data to support trend analysis and leadership decision-making.
- Elicit customer requirements to develop recommendations for process improvements or new cybersecurity operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of relevant technical experience (or an additional eight years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- Active Secret security clearance or higher.
- Minimum DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams of five (5) or more personnel.
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments (e.g., DHA, Naval Information Warfare Centers).
- Strong knowledge of incident response methodologies, threat actor profiles, and attack lifecycle stages.
- Understanding of network security architecture, including topology, protocols, and components.
- Proficiency in communicating technical cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT or IAM Level III certification.
