Supervisor/Team Lead, Logistics Operations - Ocean Export

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of local operations specialists in Roissy, Paris
• Set clear expectations, assign daily work, and monitor team results
• Provide regular coaching to ensure high quality, productivity, and service levels
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and professional development of a diverse team
• Optimize daily workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and problem resolution
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Step in to perform hands-on operational export tasks when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in ocean export operations within a freight forwarding environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing teams
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)

• Strong background in logistics operations and cross-functional project collaboration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proven ability to manage performance and financial metrics
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
