Supervisor, Warehousing & Material Control

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping, receiving, and inventory management operations for the Acton site during the weekend night shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 pm – 6:30 am).
• Supervise, train, and develop direct reporting staff, including managing KPIs, performance monitoring, and timecard approvals.
• Enforce safety requirements and ensure compliance with QMS, CPAT, and OSHA standards.
• Manage raw material component receipts and storage to ensure inventory availability for Kitting, Packaging, and Supply Chain departments.
• Oversee domestic and international shipments of unsterile products to sterilization sites, ensuring proper import/export documentation.
• Manage warehouse storage utilization to minimize off-site storage costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, or material control.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX or other ERP Materials Management modules.
• Hands-on experience with forklift operation (stand-up and sit-down).
• Valid driver's license (non-CDL) and ability to pass a DOT medical test to operate a box truck between locations.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Experience in a start-up production environment.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong customer service orientation for internal and external stakeholders.
