About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee divisional tutoring operations, resource labs, and academic support services for STEM and Health Sciences.
  • Coordinate tutoring coverage, scheduling, and staffing across multiple modalities to ensure high-quality student support.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate professional and student tutoring staff while providing ongoing coaching and professional development.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with faculty, academic divisions, and campus programs to align services with course needs.
  • Collect and analyze tutoring utilization and student success data to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Implement innovative outreach efforts, workshops, and embedded support models to promote student engagement and persistence.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in education, adult education, student affairs, or a STEM/Health Sciences content area.
  • Minimum of two years of experience supervising, coordinating, or leading tutoring, academic support, or student success programs.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and diverse student populations.
  • Direct experience in tutoring, teaching, coaching, mentoring, or academic support services.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing data, reporting tools, or assessment practices to monitor services and evaluate outcomes.
  • Experience developing student support programming, outreach initiatives, or workshops.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), student information systems, or scheduling platforms.
