Supervisor (Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Supervise Specialized Engagement Specialists and non-specialized Engagement Specialists
• Assist with daily intake and monitor weekly intake schedules
• Manage staff remote, late-night, and vacation calendars
• Translate complaints and supporting depositions for victims and witnesses
• Complete and file Affidavit of Translation (AOT) forms
• Maintain a small caseload to contact victims and witnesses for supporting depositions
• Explain the criminal justice system and victim rights to clients
• Assist victims with orders of protection and inmate release notifications
• Liaise between victims and Assistant District Attorneys
• Handle high volumes of crisis and information calls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience
• High fluency in Spanish and English (oral and written)
• Ability to handle high caseloads and set priorities
• Strong organizational and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the criminal justice system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Experience in community work or community-centered activities
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of confidentiality and sensitivity
