Supervisor, SMA Wire Production

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily production activities for SMA Wire Technicians during the weekend night shift (Friday–Sunday, 6:00 pm – 6:30 am)
• Provide hands-on leadership by working on the production line as needed to ensure targets are met
• Ensure team adherence to standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards in compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to team members
• Monitor workflow and production output to align with daily and weekly build plans
• Onboard and train employees on automated wire drawing equipment, including setup, repair, and maintenance
• Coordinate with the Production Manager to escalate equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns
• Support inventory control, work order management in SAP, and preventative maintenance activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Mechanical aptitude with experience using automated machines and tools
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft 365
• Strong English fluency (verbal and written)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Production Management
• Previous experience in medical device or electronics assembly
