About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the quality program for the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) communications equipment.
- Develop and enforce maintenance and supply policies, procedures, and standard work.
- Maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and oversee certification compliance.
- Monitor, audit, and evaluate logistics and maintenance operations to prevent defects and ensure adherence to quality plans.
- Analyze adverse quality trends and initiate corrective actions using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Act as the primary interface between the customer and daily program operations.
- Lead quality initiatives and projects, managing resources and reporting progress to management.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Four years of experience conducting quality audits, inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
- Four years of directly related work experience in an equipment maintenance field.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality control processes.
- Possession of a valid U.S. Passport and a U.S. Stateside Driver’s License.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Visa.
- Proficiency in reviewing technical specifications and forecasting spare parts.
Preferred Qualifications
- USMC MOS 0402/3002.
- Completion of the Logistics Officer Course or equivalent.
- Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) by ASQ.
- Practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
- In-depth understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and shipboard equipment.
