Supervisor QC Reagent

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to individual contributors in a highly regulated environment (CLIA/CAP/ISO13485)
• Perform, troubleshoot, and follow up on incoming inspection, manufacturing, and Quality Control tests for reagent release
• Support and lead development of workflow troubleshooting and procedure improvements
• Oversee and maintain training records for new hires and manage day-to-day operational staffing
• Implement new process changes, tech transfers, and reagent qualification
• Assist with audit preparation by compiling data and preparing reports
• Lead continuous improvement projects and participate in investigations and summaries
• Ensure compliance with GLP and GMP standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with a CLS/MLS degree or 4.5+ years of experience with a BS/BA in Biological Sciences or related field
• Current California State CLS or CGMBS license (for California site)
• Experience in PCR and other Molecular Biology techniques
• Understanding of Quality Control methods development and implementation
• Experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, CLIA, CAP) and aseptic techniques
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Molecular Biology and/or Cell Culture experience in a laboratory setting
• Experience writing SOPs and QC documentation
• Experience with supply chain, document control, and regulatory compliance
