Supervisor, Production - Food Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor daily activities of production and material handling associates to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
• Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
• Conduct regular pre-shift meetings to communicate policy changes, address concerns, and foster employee engagement.
• Evaluate business demand to prioritize and distribute daily work assignments and staffing levels.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels in production and material handling areas using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban methods.
• Maintain a safe work environment by directing safety training, reviewing SOPs, and conducting accident investigations.
• Review and record all necessary production documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid state driver's license with proof of liability coverage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or guest supply technology.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
