Supervisor, Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 35 employees or contract workers in an operational area
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and engagement of staff
• Assign daily work and monitor progress to ensure all KPIs are met
• Collaborate with peers across shifts and functions to optimize site performance
• Drive a culture of belonging, safety, continuous improvement, and high performance
• Compile and analyze operational data to prepare performance reports for leadership
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and feedback to subordinates
• Partner with Human Resources on personnel actions including promotions and discipline

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience, including at least 1 year as a team lead or supervisor
• Ability to comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft systems
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and guidelines
• Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies
