Supervisor, Operations

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams of 20 to 80 associates in warehouse activities including unloading, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
• Manage production workflow and utilize multi-warehouse systems to predict and direct departmental activities
• Administer company policies, procedures, and legal guidelines regarding safety, attendance, and productivity
• Manage operational costs by tracking against budgets and conducting cost analysis
• Facilitate daily tactical planning, budgeting, and workforce requirement scheduling
• Develop performance measures and provide continuous coaching and feedback to work group members
• Foster a high-performance team environment through effective conflict resolution and leadership

Requirements

• 2-3 years of supervision experience or a B.A./B.S. degree (or equivalent work experience with demonstrated leadership)
• Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to learn and utilize warehouse management systems such as SAP, WCS, Red Prairie, or TranMan
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Proven ability to manage production workflow, costs, and resource allocation
