Supervisor Nuclear Reactor Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to nuclear maintenance personnel performing mechanical repairs and station maintenance.
• Guide the development of work schedules for assigned systems during Inage and Outage periods.
• Assign work to qualified personnel in accordance with training directives and station guidelines.
• Monitor work progression to ensure high quality and strict adherence to personnel safety protocols.
• Review all completed work for compliance with QA, Post Maintenance Testing, and procedural requirements.
• Conduct weekly briefings and meetings to discuss safety topics and team-related items.
• Manage employee performance through feedback, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate payroll and compliance with fatigue and work hour limits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4 years of work-related experience.
• Ability to work in radiation control areas.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, cramped/confined spaces, and handle heavy equipment.
• Availability to be on call 24 hours a day.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous reactor maintenance experience within a comparable nuclear plant.
• 5+ years of reactor maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple complex tasks and motivate team members.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
