Supervisor Microbiology & Chemical Lab

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement all Chemical Lab activities, including physical, chemical, and sensory testing.
• Manage microbiological activities for raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished products, and environmental testing.
• Implement and maintain laboratory quality assurance procedures, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety programs.
• Manage sensory test activities, including developing procedures and conducting daily sensory panels.
• Oversee laboratory supplies and equipment, ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and staff training.
• Develop and implement specific safety procedures and ensure all personnel receive appropriate safety training.
• Verify experimental data and determine product conformance to specified requirements and regulations.
• Supervise laboratory personnel to ensure strict adherence to procedures and prevent contamination or accidents.
• Review and approve protocol request forms and ensure all results are accurately recorded and identifiable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Food Technology.
• Practical experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety awareness.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems.
• Fluency in both Bulgarian and English.
