Supervisor Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of local mechanics to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of heavy machinery
• Conduct inspections and ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards and safety guidelines
• Provide preventive maintenance and execute repairs for various heavy earth-moving machines
• Act as the liaison between the back office (buyers, admin, logistics) and the on-site mechanics team
• Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure effective team operations
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Regularly travel to visit and inspect workshops within the GCC region
• Report directly to the Workshop Manager regarding progress, challenges, and team performance

Requirements

• Minimum of secondary education in mechanics (automotive or similar field) or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a mechanic, specifically with heavy machinery and earth-moving equipment
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and punctuality
• Proven ability to manage and oversee teams to ensure productivity
• Willingness to relocate and work abroad for an extended period
• Previous experience on large international projects or within the same industry is highly preferred
