Supervisor, Materials Management

Responsibilities

• Supervise site materials functions including planning, cycle counting, and SAP material management
• Oversee receipt of materials, purchase requisitions, material movements, and Kanban replenishment
• Lead process and procedure improvements, characterization, and validation
• Manage, support, and guide the team through task delegation, performance assessment, and training
• Maintain inventory records for raw materials, reagents, consumables, and spare parts
• Coordinate activities across departments and represent supply chain operations on inter-departmental projects
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System policies, GMP, and CAP environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or material handling operations
• 3+ years of experience with databases, spreadsheets, and statistical programs
• 3+ years of experience utilizing SAP or other ERP systems for inventory management
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a biotech manufacturing environment (GMP or ISO13485)
• Experience with DOT, IATA/ICAO, and Dry Ice regulations
• Experience developing and tracking departmental metrics
• Forklift certification
