Supervisor, Manufacturing Production

Responsibilities

• Manage shift production operations across five departments: Mixing, Extrusion, Injection Moulding, Universal Cells, and Assembly
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate production and process recording systems
• Lead daily review meetings and address operational issues with support functions
• Manage team performance, including absence reporting, capability, and disciplinary procedures
• Drive cost reduction through efficiency improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as the most senior person on-site during weekend shifts
• Develop and coach individuals and teams to achieve maximum potential

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a manufacturing management role
• Sound knowledge of production processes, including planning and scheduling for machines, tooling, and labor
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation
• Practical knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies and problem-solving techniques
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Minimum of a basic secondary school education

Preferred Qualifications

• ILM Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• IOSH or NEBOSH certification
