Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering (NPI)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily NPI production operations to ensure alignment with build plans, quality standards, and cost targets
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing performance indicators, including productivity metrics, logistics performance, and 6S compliance
• Manage NPI build schedules and coordinate logistics activities to support production yield and meet delivery commitments
• Supervise, coach, and optimize manpower utilization across shifts to support employee development and production needs
• Lead continuous improvement and manufacturing engineering projects from planning through execution and results presentation
• Ensure compliance with IMS standards, 8D problem-solving methodology, and RBA requirements
• Track project progress and prepare comprehensive analytical reports for senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or similar manufacturing engineering environments
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing performance indicators and data-driven continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in production planning, supply chain management, and cost control strategies
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and 6S/5S methodologies
• Strong project management skills and experience with manpower planning
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 (4IR) and digitalization initiatives
• Knowledge of 8D problem-solving, root cause analysis, and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
