Supervisor Maintenance & Construction

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical condition, regulatory compliance, and appearance of assigned University facilities and real properties.
• Ensure efficient management of physical resources, materials, and equipment to maintain assigned facilities.
• Monitor and coordinate the efforts of Physical Plant Units regarding equipment maintenance, cleaning, construction, renovation, and systems installation or repair.
• Maintain service levels and meet occupant needs through effective facility management.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facility management.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or management capacity.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as a Facility Manager through BOMA, IFMA, and/or the New Jersey Department of Education.
