About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous daily supervision of a single packaging line process.
- Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality procedures to facilitate a proactive compliance culture.
- Actively manage line execution, including blowing, clearing, set-up, and production, to maximize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot in-process problems and remediate routine operational and system issues.
- Accurately document and review batch records to ensure Right-First-Time execution.
- Drive continuous process improvement through innovative ideas and maintain 5S standards within the finishing department.
- Work as a direct team member on the assigned line as required to maximize performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of cGMP or related manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP requirements in a regulated industry.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new programs and applications.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work a schedule of 40 to 48 hours per week, with potential for up to 60 hours based on manufacturing demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with production systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
