Supervisor, Fleet Services Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet services for assigned maintenance locations to deliver safe, reliable vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure timely completion of work in compliance with safety, environmental, ANSI, and DOT standards.
• Provide leadership and oversight to a diverse workforce, including recruiting and developing technicians.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure all employees follow established safety training and procedures.
• Monitor garage expenditures to support overall budget and incentive goals.
• Coordinate with internal customers to maximize equipment availability and resolve service issues.
• Support storm restoration efforts, including potential off-system deployments.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and implement organizational technology and process changes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to live within one hour of the work location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Class A CDL license.
• Associate or bachelor's degree.
• Prior experience supervising in a technical or mechanical environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fleet maintenance best practices and federal/state regulations.
• Experience managing represented employees and working within labor agreements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
• Experience with budget management and financial concepts.
