Supervisor, Field Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of outside and inside plant network services and technicians
• Oversee installation and maintenance of residential, business, and central office services
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors regarding construction and maintenance
• Train, coach, and develop employees on new processes, quality standards, and safety
• Lead a team of technicians to meet attendance and performance standards
• Collaborate with the union to maintain a productive working relationship
• Represent the company with customers and governmental agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
• 4+ years of experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment
• Experience with employee development, coaching, and mentoring in a union environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Working knowledge of telecommunications installation, maintenance, and splicing processes
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing teams within a telecom technical environment
• 2+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of POTS and HSI
