Supervisor, Facility Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Facilities Operations Technicians
• Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure including HVAC, power distribution, and backup systems
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance schedules and equipment calibration
• Create and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams for equipment intake and installation
• Manage critical equipment maintenance, repairs, and documentation
• Provide on-call support and respond to critical facilities incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field (or relevant experience)
• 4+ years of experience managing critical facilities systems (power, cooling, environmental controls)
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining critical facilities infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers
• Proficiency with building management systems (BMS) and environmental monitoring tools
• Proven leadership experience in critical facilities or technical operations
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work at heights up to 50 feet
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming PLC-based control systems
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (EPA 608 Technician)
