Supervisor Facilities HVAC Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical and HVAC/R systems, including chiller plants, cleanroom HVAC/R, and general building utilities
• Lead and hold the team accountable for shift performance, ensuring timely completion of PMs, work orders, and project assignments
• Monitor equipment performance and alarms, applying systematic problem-solving to resolve issues and improve stability
• Develop and enforce procedures that promote safety, quality, and consistent work practices
• Identify and lead improvement and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency
• Foster a high-performing team culture through effective communication, performance management, and continuous learning

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a technical, facilities, manufacturing, or military environment
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical systems, or facilities maintenance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to work onsite and outdoors as needed, including rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with HVAC/R or mechanical systems
• Valid HVAC/R license
