Supervisor, Distribution

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all pharmaceutical distribution activities, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Oversee inbound and outbound activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of all shipments.
• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders to determine priorities and work assignments.
• Standardize procedures to improve subordinate efficiency and address issues related to outbound operations.
• Compile composite reports regarding outbound operations using system data and individual subordinate reports.
• Interface with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Human Resources departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience in large-scale distribution center operations, OR 2+ years of supervisory experience in pharmaceutical distribution or a related healthcare/perishable product field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Ability to be trained and certified to operate industrial fork-trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.
