Supervisor de Seguridad e Higiene

Responsibilities

• Supervise field compliance with industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental guidelines during civil works within the plant
• Implement and monitor the project's HSE plan
• Verify correct use of PPE and compliance with work permits
• Supervise high-risk tasks including work at heights, hot work, confined spaces, lifting maneuvers, and civil works
• Identify, report, and correct unsafe acts and conditions
• Conduct inductions, safety talks, and personnel training
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, generating reports and corrective actions
• Coordinate safety inspections and field walkthroughs
• Halt work when critical risks are detected
• Prepare daily and weekly safety reports
• Support internal and external HSE audits

Requirements

• Technical degree or Bachelor's in Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in industrial or civil works projects
• Proven experience in civil works within plants, factories, or industrial facilities
• Valid DC3 certifications in: Work at heights, Confined spaces, Hot work, and First aid
• Knowledge of risk analysis, work permits, and critical activity supervision
• Availability of schedule
• Resident of Chiapas or availability to relocate to Ocosingo
