Compass Coffee has expanded to 16 cafes in and around DC, maintaining a relentless commitment to ethical sourcing, masterful blending, and peak roasting.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide legendary customer service
- Seek opportunities to engage and connect with customers
- Craft drinks that uphold quality standards
- Taste coffee daily to expand palette and knowledge
- Support team members in upholding the company mission
- Follow cleaning standards to ensure cafes are fresh, clean, and safe
- Uphold cafe operational standards
- Prepare food and drinks to standard or customized requests
Requirements
- 1 year of supervisor experience required
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset and receptiveness to feedback
