Supervisor, Commercial Production

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production floor activities for the 2nd shift in compliance with company policies, OSHA, FDA, and cGMP standards.
• Drive a strong safety culture by investigating incidents, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage workflow and assign responsibilities to direct reports to ensure right-first-time and on-time delivery to customers.
• Facilitate daily shift handoffs and coordinate with procurement, maintenance, warehouse, and quality departments.
• Utilize problem-solving tools to drive continuous improvement and manage daily staffing levels.
• Oversee hiring, training using TWI methodology, and associate performance evaluations.
• Monitor and drive KPIs through visual control boards and regular line communications.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proven history of successful supervisory responsibilities.
• Basic mathematical skills and intermediate computer proficiency.
• Full professional proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
• High reasoning skills with the ability to solve practical problems in non-standardized situations.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Strong ability to present information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to set and achieve challenging goals.
