Supervisor, Chemistry Laboratory

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of laboratory Analysts and Technicians
• Plan and schedule daily work assignments and complete performance evaluations
• Ensure on-time and quality delivery of chemistry laboratory results
• Maintain compliance with ISO-17025, ISO-17020, ISO Guide 65, and ISO-9001 accreditations
• Serve as a technical expert in study designs, analytical techniques, and data analysis
• Train analysts on analytical methods and techniques
• Write and review protocols, reports, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries and complaints
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related sciences
• 3+ years of experience in an Analytical chemistry setting
• Hands-on experience with GC-MS, UPLC-MS, LC, and/or ICP-MS instruments
• 2+ years of protocol and report writing experience
• 1-3 years of supervisory or Team Lead experience
• Experience in FDA regulated labs (GMP/GLP/GDP) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific disciplines
• 3-5 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience
