Supervisor, Cabin Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical guidance to an engineering team focused on the design and certification of aircraft cabin components.
• Accountable for the daily technical execution and timely delivery of accurate design and certification deliverables.
• Ensure team adherence to the Design Organization Manual and compliance with Airbus Business Processes.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, focusing on the development of critical technical competencies.
• Support and implement quality, process, and business improvement initiatives at the team level.
• Ensure safety management through policy deployment, communication, training, and risk management.
• Identify and lead local improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through improved methods and processes.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 15 years of experience within the aviation industry.
• 5 years of technical leadership experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical aircraft topics.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills.
• Ability to inter-relate with and motivate diverse teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
